AC/DC, the world famous Australian heavy metal band, will perform a massive world tour beginning this fall in the United States. The classic hard rock band is famous for such best selling albums as “Highway to Hell” and “Back in Black” and is currently plotting its first concert tour since 2001 to support their newest album “Black Ice.”

Black Ice will be sold exclusively at Walmart in the US and at acdc.com and has been receiving mostly positive reviews. Additionally, AC/DC has launched a brand new online fan club at acdc.com. Membership in the fan club costs $40 US and allows the purchaser to obtain a presale pass code to purchase two tickets to any date on the tour. Other benefits include an online fan chat forum and access to tour video.

Tickets for this concert tour are expected to be in very high demand and will go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster beginning the weekend of September 20th. The AC/DC Black Ice world tour begins on October 28th in Pennsylvania then heads to Chicago for a show scheduled for October 30th. There is enough time for AC/DC to add a Halloween Chicago date if the show on October 30th sells out. Other early highlights on the tour include a two night stand at New York’s world famous Madison Square Garden and a December 6th show at The Forum in Los Angeles, California. AC/DC is expected to announce additional concert dates for this leg of the US tour as well as additional dates for cities worldwide.
