He did not claim to hate or want to destroy us, he said he wanted to be our friend; he said that his religion has been a peaceful one and that his country wanted to live by their beliefs in the absence of interference from other nations. Country music originated from the old folk music that the pioneers sang and played as they  set tled across the country. They used wagon trains.
